Values that guide our church teachings:
A – Discipleship: To enhance the process of discipleship, people need relationships that provide encouragement and accountability at a personal level. We encourage committed membership in the body and promote one-on-one and small group assemblies.
B – World Mission: We believe that lost people matter to God, and ought to matter to us (Lk.19:10). Therefore, the good news of salvation in Christ must be proclaimed both in our local communities and globally.
C – Praise & Worship: We delight in spending time in God’s presence by worshiping Him in Spirit and in truth. Our goal is to glorify God and His Son through His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit fostering spiritual growth through praise and worship.
D – Stewardship: It is our believe that all that we have is not our own, but belongs to God. We are therefore accountable to Him for how we manage and invest all that He has entrusted to our care.
E – The Need of Prayer: We believe in the power of prayer and hold to the opinion that there are some problems that can only be solved by prayer and fasting (Mk.9:29). We recognize prayer as both a divine privilege and solemn responsibility. Lives can only be changed by the power of God appropriated through prayer. ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ -Matt.21:13-
F – Bible Centered Teaching and Preaching: God’s Word is foundational to worship, fellowship, prayer and evangelism. God’s Word is truth and God’s household – the church of the living God is the pillar and foundation of the truth.
G – Fellowship & Relationship Building: It is our believe that our love for each other should permeate the life of our Ministry. Bearing fruit in service to others is evidence of abiding life in Christ. We meet together, relating to and enjoying one another.
H – Godly Servant & Visionary leadership: Gifted and inspiring leadership is our delight. We prefer leaders who are servants to leaders who are lords! “The greatest among you will be your servant. “
I – Cultural relevance and Networking: We believe we will be more effective as we incorporate cultural diversity in our membership because this best expresses the body of Christ in the world. We communicate truth in a way that people who are not like us understand it and crossing any boundary to connect with people with whom we have a common cause. “We try to find a common ground with everyone, doing everything we can to save men.”
J – Sanctification: We believe that without sanctification (holiness) no man can see God –Heb.12:14-. It is a progressive work of grace, starting from the time of regeneration (rebirth) until the final salvation at the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Sanctification of: – spirit, soul & body -1 Thes.5:23-
